The majority of international families we serve are in one of the following categories:
those making a secondary refugee resettlement to Maine from another state,
those facing an emergency situation, such as a car accident, hospitalization, or death of a family member,
those who arrived in the U.S. years ago, but still struggle with various aspects of adjustment or have a family situation requiring ongoing care.
We are unable to give advice on legal or immigration issues, nor do we provide cash assistance.
