The majority of international families we serve fall into one of the following categories:
- those making a secondary refugee resettlement to Maine from another state,
- those facing an emergency situation, such as a car accident, hospitalization, or death of a family member,
- those who arrived in the U.S. years ago, but still struggle with various aspects of adjustment or have a family situation requiring ongoing care.
We are unable to provide assistance with legal or immigration issues.
